My Youth: My parents moved to Taree not long after I was born to run a Petrol Station which was to lead to car yards, development of property in Taree and Port Macquarie and the creation of Taree's own Crematorium. Taree was to be my home for the next 18 years where I also met my wife (Bec) whilst we were still at High School.

Where to from there: After finishing High School I took a further interest in real estate and completed the Licensed Real Estate Agents course at Tighes Hill TAFE in Newcastle. After completion at the ripe old age of 19, I moved to Port Macquarie to start my career in Real Estate.

A Career in Real Estate: I see my career as much more than a job. To be an effective agent you have to live and breath Real Estate! It's also a great opportunity to create lifelong friends and clients.

Planning, construction and sale of several property developments.

What else have you been doing: Bec and I have 2 children both born in Port Macquarie. Arcadia is our first who is in year 3 at School. Izaiah is our second child born 5 years ago. Izaiah is about to start School. We are a busy family being involved in Hockey, Martial Arts, Surf Club and School.
The Meldrums are also great at socialising with our home (which we never seem to finish) often the place to catch up with friends. We have just recently bought another property which is to be rented and we are planning to add another to our portfolio this year.

What next: Life is an exciting experience you just never know what's going to happen next. One thing I can assure you though is that the Real Estate industry is where I will be for a long, long time.
